On July 8th, CFCA co-organized a high-level conference with Groupe CDG, in partnership with GIZ, focused on the theme of accelerating the development of carbon markets across the African continent. We had the pleasure of welcoming Her Excellency Leila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, and Her Excellency Patricia Llombart Cussac, Ambassador of the European Union to Morocco. The event featured expert panels that explored how project development can unlock Africa’s carbon market potential, while addressing key challenges and identifying opportunities for sustainable and inclusive growth.
